I’m Valentina Premoli, Filmmaker and Video Editor. Graduated in 2015 as Graphic Operator - Multimedia at Acof Olga Fiorini - Social Cooperative of Busto Arsizio and then i attended a Post-Diploma course in Film Direction at Scuola Nazionale di Cinema Indipendente in Florence.
During the school period, I worked as an intern, at Living Media and Teleregione Toscana I was in charge of video editing, filming and graphics.
From 2017 to 2020 I collaborated with Mototurismo, a motorcycle travel magazine, I was in charge of video editing dedicated to the magazine's Youtube channel.
In 2017 I also attended a course in Sound Design for Videogame at the International School of Comics Padova, where we worked on the sound sector of the videogame, Sword of Calengal.
In April 2018 together with my friends we founded Studio Whakan, a self-production project of short films, the first short film made was “Una Luce Prima del Buio which is which is touring various festivals and winning various awards. Is published in a book of short films "A non-exhaustive list of highly creative short" by INDIEWRAP.
From 2019 to 2020 I worked as a Graphic Designer at the Wallcovering Pubblicità / Trialsystem company.
After 2020, I started expanding my experience internationally and exploring new creative environments. I moved to Canada, where I had my first working experience in Toronto as a Restaurant Manager, which helped me develop strong organizational and people management skills, while continuing to work on my creative projects on the side.
In 2025, I worked as a Creative Content Producer at Seequence, a post-production company focused on creating video content for YouTubers and content creators.
More recently, I’ve been working with AWE Digital Wellness, first as an intern and now as a Creative Consultant Video Editor & Animator. Here I focus on video editing, animation and content creation, contributing to projects that combine creativity with a strong purpose around digital wellness and human connection.
At the same time, I decided to invest further in my education and I am currently studying Social Media Production at George Brown Polytechnic in Toronto. This program is helping me better understand not only how to create content, but also how to build strategies, engage audiences and develop meaningful digital experiences.
The cinema is my main passion. Started as a pure form of entertainment then become central in my training path. So I managed to make the use of movies and TV series an important moment of study and research, mainly from a technical point of view (direction, photography and film editing).
Music is definitely my second biggest passion. Since childhood it has an important role in everyday life and inspired me to study some instruments including drums and guitar.
